Patrice A. Wagonhurst is an honored researcher and leader in the nonprofit health sector internationally and domestically. Based in Southern California, Patrice is an Independent Healthcare Consultant and brings to the Claire Marie Foundation more than 20 years experience developing health services to the underserved populations of Latin America and her native Los Angeles through research, business development, administration and fundraising. With a Master of Public Health and a Master of Arts in Latin studies from the University of California at Los Angeles, Patrice has developed large-scale public health programs and raised over thirty million dollars for low-income urban communities in Los Angeles, served as the Director of Program Development and Evaluation at the Venice Family Clinic in Venice California, and as a Project Evaluator for Save the Children and the Inter American Foundation in La Paz Bolivia. Patrice has a special connection with the Claire Marie Foundation as she is Claire’s aunt and is inspired to join us in our mission to help prevent this horrendous disease in young people.
