Dr. Vadim Gushchin is a surgical oncologist at Mercy Medical Center of Baltimore. Dr. Gushchin leads Mercy’s Melanoma and Skin Cancer Center and center of Gastrointestinal Oncology. He is one of the Mid-Atlantic region’s leading surgical oncologists, offering long-time expertise in the treatment of complex cancers including melanoma. With medical training in Moscow, Russia and residencies at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital and the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C., Dr. Gushchin serves as Director of Mercy’s prestigious HIPEC Program where he has championed efforts to improve survival rates of late-stage cancers.
